Packing is consistently cited as the most dreaded and time-consuming aspect of moving. A 3-bedroom home can take a single person 40-60 hours to pack properly. NEM professional packers do it in a fraction of the time with far better results. Our packing crews arrive with all necessary materials — standard boxes, book boxes, wardrobe boxes, dish pack kits, mirror/art boxes, bubble wrap, packing paper, tape guns, and markers. They work room by room with a systematic approach: fragile items first (wrapped individually in packing paper and cushioned with bubble wrap), then books and heavy items in small boxes, clothing in wardrobe boxes hung on portable racks, and general items in labeled standard boxes. Every box is marked with its contents and destination room. The kitchen, which is typically the most labor-intensive room to pack, receives special attention — each dish, glass, and bowl is individually wrapped. Electronics are padded and their cables labeled for easy reconnection. Unpacking service reverses the process: boxes opened, items placed in their locations, shelf paper laid, and all packing materials broken down for recycling or removal.
Packing is priced by crew size and hours, with all materials included in the rate. A 1-bedroom home typically takes 2-3 hours with a 2-person crew. A 3-4 bedroom home takes 5-8 hours with 2-3 packers. Unpacking is priced similarly. Partial packing (kitchen only, bedroom only) is available and priced based on scope. No separate charge for materials — boxes, wrap, and tape are all included.

Each piece is individually wrapped in packing paper, then placed in cell-divided dish pack boxes with additional cushioning. These boxes are clearly marked "FRAGILE" and loaded on top of heavier boxes in the truck.
Yes. Every box is labeled with the room it came from, the destination room, and a general description of contents. This makes unpacking significantly easier and helps movers place boxes correctly.
During unpacking service, you can designate certain boxes as "leave packed." The crew will place them in the correct room but not open them. This is common for personal items, paperwork, and keepsakes.
If booking just packing (no move), schedule packers 1-2 days before the move so everything is ready when the moving crew arrives
